Starting to sit down to it in the evening again.  A couple of flake points in the last couple days.

That green stuff is super slick.  It amazed me how well the flakes peeled away.  It words noticeably better than the lighter colored stuff.

Anybody every notice differences in how Ridge material works?

I've definitely noticed the difference in that material. Some colors are better, different cook times and temps make a big difference, and the initial texture prior to cooking seems to factor in.

I'm no expert in material and have several I have yet to try, but flint ridge is my current favorite. I really hope to get there this weekend for the knap in and harvest some more over at Nether's. I just need to work out the travel details.

Why thank ya fellers.  Nice to be getting back to a routine.  Trying to get a bow done with a deadline coming up.  Looking forward to October, too!
