70 yard shot is pretty good with an open sighted .22 Zuma.Nice shot.

That would be a good .22 shot even with a scope. The shot groupings tend to open up at that distance. You're a dead eye Zuma.

Is ground hog skin preferable for drum making? I know goat skin is popular because it's less affected by humidity, but I've never heard mention of ground hog.

DK I'm thinking they would be very good but only for a 9-10 inch dia.
My fur buyer used to have them have made into vests.
 You would sware they were gray fox.
