Ya figured imgur out!
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

A few strange things this year. Only one pair of potato bugs early. No frost last winter? :)
Volunteer kale, I think, killed my tater plants while I was away for two weeks. :'(
Tomatoes without something unexpected look real good. ;D Lopes are great. :D :D I must deter skunk somehow. :-M :-M
A couple bunnies and a few deer tracks. ??? A few clipped blossoms etc. I think I will try a radio AM talk show at night
iF I get attacked. If nothing else the fauna will be fat and know all about the POTUS. >:D

The woods are my garden as well, I walk a 3 mile trail through them 3 times a week. I have been eating blackberries, watching the green muscadines develop and keeping tabs on a pretty good paw-paw crop down by the river.

Most of the walkers are city folk that will walk over a bounty of muscadines and paw-paws on the ground and not have a clue what they are.

I planted two pawpaws years ago. Now they are copses of pawpaw that bloom every spring but I've never seen fruit. I've heard that blow flies are their pollinators but I can't make myself go out looking for road kill to assist...plus my new dog would love it if I put roadkill under them.

My Dad used to pay 10 cents per for all the "Mater Worms" I could find. Loved to squish them under My Chuck Taylors  ! Bob
