Made this one from a piece of obsidian I got from Frank at Marshall. A little big for Atlatl think I might have to make a spear.

Sweet. It looks just like a perfect textbook example of what a hand flaked spear point should look like

Thanks guys, not sure about the text book but it's what I think of when I think of a spear point anyway. Thank you for the nice words. I do think I'll put this one on a spear to hang on my wall.

Thanks Kyle I think it'll look really cool halvted on a nice spear hanging on my wall. It'd make a really cool but large necklace. People would definitely notice it.

Nice point - sure that wouldn't fit on an atlatl dart? It will look good where ever you put it! Make a real purity necklace for your lady!

Bring that summa-gun up here to South Dakota and I will hook you up with one of the buffalo ranches in the area....if you are really feeling froggy! One good throw will set you up with a couple hundred servings of what Americans were meant to eat!

Thanks JW. That sounds like a lot of fun. My neighbor had a few fenced in his property for a few years. They are big animals for sure. He doesn't have them anymore.
