q about natural bowstring
« on: June 13, 2017, 11:57:17 am »
Have any of you used coffeeweed for making bowstrings? Also called bigpod sesbania, colorado river hemp, and others. The scientific name is sesbania herbacea. They grow all over where I live, and I've read that Native Americans used to use them for making nets and fishing line. I saw them when I was  bushhoggin last time I was home. They get pretty tall...these were over my head while I was sitting in the tractor.
