Got a question for you,  im getting ready to put the finishing touches on an ocean spray bow.  What did you use to stain it from that bridge white to the color you have there?

Patrick, the only stain I used on this bow was Tan Fiebing's Leather Dye. The black and white was done with paint.

Thanks Weylin,  I know its really dense and hard to take a stain.  I found that if I hit it with a map gas torch that it looked pretty cool.  Ill try a couple of different leather dye options. Thanks again!

Sorry for the late response - I wasn't here for a while ...
That's an aweful little bow - your daughter will like it for sure. I like your lettering and finish work.

Also beautiful photography!

That will be something she will want to sleep with!  Might make the teddy bear move over! (SH) :NN.
Good to see young folks interested.  Real neat bow!  Give it to her tomorrow and you will have a Father's Day to remember!

Thanks again, guys! She has really enjoyed shooting it. Even better, my wife has started shooting regularly now that Naia is wanting to shoot. I updated the original post with some new pictures of Naia shooting the bow for the first time.

She is precious! I love the pic with the arrow in flight. Looks like you have a big grin on your face!

She is a super cutie - her intent look in the first picture is so great.  And of course, nice bow (and arrows)!
