A flight archery match between members of the Jarawa tribe, who live on one of India's Andaman Islands, off the coast of Thailand.
Apart from the crouching stance, the technique and motion of shooting seem rather reminiscent of the way English warbows are shot by modern practitioners. The modified Mediterranean draw with the string in the second groove of the index finger is also similar to a common practice among the Hadza of Tanzania. (The same form of draw is also mentioned by a medieval French manual).
This style of shooting is probably ancestral to all others. Effective and elegantly simple.
