Belly Profile

For a Bow that is  1 1/4 by 7/8 by 70" ( Hickory) which belly Profile would I get best performance with?.

Flat, flat, flat. Flat as a pancake. Flatten it as flat as it will go and then make it flatter.  :) I've never had much luck with hickory and crowned bellies.

What Hillbilly Said......dont try to make an ELB out of it......just have a nice gracefully rounded Back....go flat and round the Edges....thats all.....JMO

Yessir, like yesterday's beer... flat. For hickory, anyway.

I agree. Flat belly. As strong in tension as hickory is maybe go with a slightly trapped cross section; narrower at the back than the belly.    Pat
