Shed is looking better all the time Scott. It's looking like your getting settled in and comfortable. I'm sure many fantastic projects and hopefully newbies will come from it.

Bench is done and a couple vises mounted. (One more to go.)

First shavings have been made and the summer heat is already making me think about layin some electrical cable to plug in a fan and some lights.

That is a really nice work area.  Well done.  Maybe one day I'll have the chance to make some shavings on that bench.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Very nice Scott, you could always hang a lantern out there.

Looking good Mr String! All ya gotta do now is add lotsa appropriate clutter.
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

I could do the lantern for awhile, but I will need electric out there eventually.

You're right, Mike, clutter is coming.

That turned out sweeeeet! I would love to have a place to work outside. My wife would love it too! I'm gonna build one of those someday. Thanks for the inspiration.  :)

Turned out nice Scott. I really like the character the crooked post give it. Now where does the knapping pit go at in there?
