Get smacked in the head with a broken limb a few times and your thought process changes fast. Me? I wouldn't build a 3 piece without hardware made for such. I paid $13.90 USD for the entire kit. The threaded insert is hardened and epoxied into place, the limb bolt is grade 8 and the alignment pins are hardened dowels. Short cuts aren't my thing, neither is "good enough".
