tiller check please (some more pictrues added)

this is a piece of Hazel nut, 62 3/4" ttt, knocks are right at the tip, I need to fix them. It feels like its pulling 40-45ish. thank you for looking and any tips. I can get some more pictures today.  Ed

the bottom limb has a small pin knot in it, you can see it in the unbraced profile the dido in the limb.

Ed, it looks like you’re at full draw already, and the tiller looks smooth and even. Without seeing the front and unstrung profiles, I’d say “Good job – sand the nocks - put some finish on it”.

I'm wondering if it could bend a little more in the fades but I'm not sure.

I think it could bend a little more at the fades and the outer portion of the top limb could bend a bit more leaving the last 6" or so stiff.

Agreed. It won't take a lot to accomplish this. Just a few scrapes as you said.

Often a bow not bending enough near the fades stacks. Unless it feels like it is stacking on you I would leave it and enjoy it. Jawge

It does look like a very good elliptical tiller job to me.Nice hazel self bow!!.I think George nailed it about how it feels.What he means then is it could feel like a shorter bow drawing even though it's a little bit longer bow[not really though] with just the outer portions doing the bending with a longer handle.Increasing the string angle.Hav'nt read your draw length though.
Like Jeff said too it won't take much.Very minor adjustment if wanted to reduce the string angle a little.
Kind of a small pic of the resting profile but it does'nt look bad.That will tell ya.
