Started my garden
« on: April 03, 2017, 09:07:33 am »
Got the garden planted this weekend. Tilled about a 10x12 patch and fenced it with chicken wire to keep the dogs out.

I've got 8 tomato plants, two full rows of red and green lettuce, herbs, collards, spinach, onions, kale, broccoli, bell, banana, jalapeno, and cayenne peppers, etc.

Still need to do squash, beans, and maybe some blueberries and pickling cucumbers, and I'm going to plant the wildflowers for pollination today since it rained and the compost manure had time to kick in (it smells pretty bad)

Plenty big enough, John. We don't plant our summer garden until mid May because of late frosts.
