does that tough quartzite knap? i tried to take some flakes off a core of that stuff and i couldn't get it to work. theres lots of it here locally so if any one wants some let me know. ive been using it as hammer stones with success on glass.

Found a new technique to knapping obsidian with billets. Cant really explain it I would have to show you but boy it makes it simple to make paper thin obsidian points!  ;D
