That's some bow,all right. Excellent craftsmanship, tiller, tips, and all. Got you bookmarked for March Self Bow of the Month, of course.
I really like your neighbor's (or yours) stone house.  And I've alway admired the use of wood and stucco? on your sidings.

That is absolutely gorgeous!!! Hey, where did you get the copperhead skins? I've been trying to get my hands on a set for some time.

wow what a nice responce, thanks!

about the tips: they actually look sort of big in the pics, but they are not, they are really narrow but thickend where the nock/string grove is; i'll try to get a better picture of their shape and size! i although narrowed the recurves as far as i trusted myself with the result that the bow shoots nice with very little handshock.
btw the are from prunewood and waterbuffalo horn

about the skins: as i said they where traded here on PA and i was happy to see they fit full length of the limbs. (thanks ed)

thanks, frank

Some of you guys amaze me at how quick you pick it up.I must be pretty dense,it took me
a lot longer than that to turn out anything close to that.Great job.  :)

Wow, that really turned out nice! Every aspect of it looks top notch to me. You really do a beautiful job on your tips, and the handle is classey as well. Copperhead skins are still my favorite, and you definitely did those justice on this bow. Great job! ;)

Exceptionally fine looking weapon. I bet you don't see too many copperhead skins in Germany.  :) What kind of snakes do you have over there?

no, i was really happy with that trade therefore! - only very few species of snakes over here in germany (central europe) and all are endangered species! only saw one snake in the free in my whole life here in germany!!!
