Angular bow books?

Any one know good books about building/history on Egyptian angular bows?

I'm afraid not but to make one I would copy the dimensions of an old bow. If you get Adams Karpowzis book on Turkish hornbows all the construction methods are applicable.

Not from an authenticity standpoint. The Egyptian bows were not a typical composite construction.

I'd also love some info about the cross sections/constructions of old Egyptian bow artifacts, eg King Tut's bows. Which seem remarkably intact, shame there isn't more easily available information about them.

McLeod's book on the bows from Tutankhamen's tomb is a good place to start, as mentioned in the thread linked above.  It gives some scale cross sections of several bows, as well as some measurements.  There seems to be a wide range of measurements and construction methods. I highly recommend the book, though it's not exactly directed towards a bowyer.  Hope this helps:
