Everyone's projects are looking awesome.
My yew bow is pulling very heavy around 27".
Last week I fitted the horn caps with side nocks, and I'm
hoping to finish tillering this weekend. I started a new job a few weeks ago
and my summer has been super busy.

I don't mind if it's just a little heavy Mr. Wizard  :BB >:D

So I got busy and pulled out a couple o projects that are plans c and d. Not sure what is better really so I figured I'd throw pics of them on here and see what you all think.

L to R
Buckthorn, ERC and sinew, lilac, and ash sapling

Everybody's making some good progress it looks like. Hope your boy is better soon Bushboy!

July's goodie box is on the way. Should be there Tuesday or Wednesday.

My maple board bow broke a tip off. I also have a stiff handle laminate in the works which is uncommon for , the stiff handle that is. I'll be starting a third bow here soon, just for insurance purposes. Keep up the good work everyone!

I'd love to see how the ERC and sinew turns out, but the lilac looks really nice as well.  Sorry bout the tip Dave, it sucks when one lets go.

I really like the lilac, and the ash next. I'm sure whatever you come up with will be great. Stink about the tip Dave. What's the laminate made up of? I got some more pics to put up tonight of the yew, and some of the hazel. Cheers- Brendan

Got the yew back 83# @30. (First pic) It wants to be a heavy bow. I might keep it as my first warbow. Not sure yet. And the hazel is back to about 60#@ 27" (2nd pic) i think i am going to toast the belly a bit on it. It looks like there is a hinge about a foot from the top tip, but it was really just the hump on the back/angle of the pic. I have since narrowed/ thinned the tips and it rounds off nicley. The plum has been heat treated, but need a little re-tiller. Pics to come. Cheers- Brendan

I really like the yew. It looks like a good ELB type. I also like how heavy it is. The hazel is looking good too.
