Hey guys, sorry I know I've been pretty absent from this thread.
As a fridge AC mech, work has been insanely busy and not too much time
for bows. I have many roughed out blanks, and I pulled out a sweet one the other day for my victim.

Here are a bunch of bows that I have roughed out for this trade. Obviously some are further along than others and I still haven't decided which one will be it. Some of these bows are tillered, but none of them are finished at all. A couple are just roughed out. Anyway just checking in and I haven't forgotten. When I check back I will be down to only two or three, possibly one. I enjoy doing it this way, I've learned a lot.

Everyone is doing a great job, I've learned from people here for sure. Thanks and talk to you all soon,

First picture from the top down: Black Walnut, Black Locust(will add working recurve, Eastern Redbud, Osage (spliced handle, Very old wood), Zelkova cambium(boiled in ashes) backed Black Locust static flipped, Bamboo backed Osage (skinny bow) and White Mulberry

They should all produce good bows but I really like the looks of the black walnut, both locusts, and the redbud.

Got the yew moving a little more. It's at about a 3 " brace. Pics are unbraced, 15", 18" and 20". It's pulling about 65 @ 20 sobi got a ways to go. The outer thirds are still stiff. I'll bring those around next. That should give me my length, then I just gotta bring the weight down. Been fiddling with the plum, os, and hazel too I'll get some pics of those up soon. Cheers- brendan

Life got away from me a bit but I'm back and will be getting busy finally.

Limbwalker, I love 1, 4, and 7 but they all look like they could be nice bows.

Will post some update pics soon.

Received a random package in the mail today. I had no idea who would be sending me something. Opened it up and it had a half dozen bamboo shafts, some processed sinew, a few trade points, a few field points, and a ho bunch of turkey feather. I realized it must have been the monthly drawing for the bow trade. I will get a picture of the stuff up soon. Thanks to everyone who donated. This stuff will definitely get some use.
