That looks like it could be interesting! With it being that wide it should be laterally stable. The use of heat is more for tweaking twists and lateral imbalances.
When did you put the last sinew on?

This bow has been drying for just about a months now. I put the first course of sinew on around the first of January, waited for about a week then put the second course of sinew on.

Redhand had an elk antler bow build I was looking forward to seeing finished too.Things happen.He should get around to showing it sometime.
