put a few trade items from Stringman to work
« on: February 11, 2017, 11:38:41 am »
Got a antler handle on this absolutely stunning blade I acquired from Scott. Seated with pitch glue and wrapped with back sinew with a string of beads.

Also got on of the snake skins from Scott applied to my grandsons osage bow. Paulsemp made the bow.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Thanks guys, the credit goes to Scott and Paul for crafting the point and bow. The bow gets a ton of use by the 7yr. old archer who was gifted it. The knife will remain a display piece in my home although it is tempting to use it as a primitive man would have. The edge is very thin and sharp and would make for some efficient work on skinning a deer.

Really nice use of those supplies Greg. How did you manage to pry that bow out of that youngsters hands long enough to apply those skins. They sure look good on that bow.
