Unwanted visitor
« on: February 04, 2017, 08:17:35 am »
This usually stops my supplemental feeding of wildlife for a while. I just can't set the dinner table and make things easier for these predators. He looks pretty healthy, but most urban yotes do, it seems.

I would put a rabbit in a haveaheart and wait with my rifle.
That dude looks well primed.

I'd trap him and tan his hide for future use.

+1 ^^^^ and the rest of his family, too. I haven't got one yet, but sure hoping my efforts yield a yote skin quiver for next bow season.   Just in my life time it went from no coyotes to more than there should be, at least in these parts. We should have wolves and a confirmed mt. lion sighting within a decade at that rate.
I have nothing but scorn for all weird ideas other than my own.

Looks like a quiver, maybe some left for a "winter" hair on bracer or bow glove just walked in your yard..

He has not made another appearance. I am glad I have not been setting a blind all that time.
