The jug shoot was a big hit! I think the entire camp came down and participated either shooting or watching.  It was hot but the fun made it not so noticable.

Proof that Dave did take pictures!

A true English longbow archer, John Murry,  participated.  You should have seen the jug after a 1750gr arrow with a bodkin point hit it!

Dvs keeping everyone in line!

The fire truck comes in and sprays water on the chat to help keep the dust down.  And to cool off the kids! Loyd decided he was just as hot as the kids this year!

Thank you Keith for all you do to make mojam what it is!

Hanging out at the pavilion!

Dave doing a little snake skin expo!

Newcomer Nichole, she had never shoot a bow but was there with her husband to make their first bow.  I gifted her my hickory backed red oak bow.  She shot it well and I was glad to find it a new home.

My shave horse became a play toy for this little cutie!

First timer ring chasing, quick study, and a funny guy to talk with!

Tinker, Nicholes husband, didnt think it was hot enough so we decided he needed to heat treat his ash bow before applying rawhide. With a natural 32in draw this 68in bendy handle should make him a nice shooter.

OneBow, working some beeswax into his drum beater handles.

The ladies were really involved this year in the bow shop!

A little rawhide backing being done by "my dave"  ;D

Look! I have proof that Mr. Hill does smile!

I asked Mike if he would shoot the bow I made to donate to the auction table.

I have a few more pics,  I'll post them in a little while.

Thanks fellas!
Good to see you again Mark! Looking forward to our trade!

I should say that out of my list of missing items I did manage to locate my red milwakie 16ft tape measure. But my draw knife and chunk of micarta are still missing.  If anyone runs accross them just shoot me a message.

Auction table goodies!

Everyone getting ready for the auction!

Our auctioneer!

A little blurry but here is a picture of a family that has came to mojam the last couple of years.  They are from Denmark!
See guys,  they survive the Missouri heat!

This picture is just moments after Mike's infamous $1200 cooler bid!

The last picture is what it looked like on our way out Sunday evening....

Looking back through all of these pictures is like reliving mojam again.
If it wasn't for close friends and family I would not have been able to be a part of mojam this year. I want to Thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. Because there ain't no D@&%#$ family like mojam family!  :BB :-K (--) (=) (SH) (AT) (R (W (-S

It was a great time this year!! Next year will be even better with it being the 20th anniversary.
Thinking about it (gonna be a long year ) I would like to thank everybody that traded or helped wyatt out, he likes building bows but you know he is getting at that age where other things become priority
But I think he will keep going with it. I think the best part of the weekend was when ever Dave or Patrick would ask wyatt what happened at wright city in front of his mother he would always answer what happens in the bow shed stays in the bow shed !!! 😊It was great talking and seeing everyone and meeting some new people. Counting down he days !
lets get back to the basics

Pat and BJ, you guys got to try and make it to mojam.  They say pictures are worth a thousand words.  But they are just a pin prick compared to actually being there.
Hope you guys can make it sometime!
