Osage Recurve "HUGIN"
« on: January 08, 2017, 05:38:15 pm »
Hi,

after a quite long break in bow building (last post i presented a bow was in 2008) - I started last year again with working on bows...
(thanks to simson, I was animated by him to post some pics of the bow...)

Osage Recurve
60" NTN
50# @ 27"
10 strands FF

tried to bring the bow 5" reflex, after tillering and about 1000 arrows 2" left, I am happy with the result :)

Cheers,

Wow!  That bow has a lot of similarities to Simsons work.  I hope you don't mind me saying so...but if I wanted to be compared to a Bowyer it would certainly be him.  I can't find anything I don't like about that stick n string.
