What's on the tube.
« on: December 30, 2016, 01:34:13 pm »
I made this dagger up think it turned out ok. I knapped the blade from a old TV screen. I made a little smaller one for Looper for the Christmas trade a couple weeks ago. The handle is a leg bone from my buck. The hilt is a bone I found last summer where my wife dumps her "swamp bucket". I'm pretty sure it's from a beef pot roast. I filed the hole out big enough to slide over leg bone halvted blad with pine pitch glue let it cool then put some pitch glue where hilt would go warmed it up and slide hilt into place. I wrapped some leather on handle that Pearl gave me at Marshall. I might paint my normal Bjrogg markings on it to finish it up yet hope you like it thanks for looking

When I saw the title I thought it was about some new PBS show, possibly about the ice age or primitive peoples. ;)

The dagger is beautiful!

Thanks for the kind words Kevin. Might be a little deceptive title but I don't think I ever enjoyed a TV as much as this one.lol. And no big cable bill either

Great job of knapping and overall construction bjrogg.I'm sure it's sharper than all get out.

Thanks Jeb, Thanks Bubby,  I still have our family Christmas and I'm planning on this for present. I'm thinking I might put my Bjrogg paint markings on it yet. Not sure I kinda like em but some may think a little over the top

Just finished watching Sponge Bob square pants on your blade. >:D
The images were a little wavy but interesting.
Very nice dagger Bryan.

Thanks Zuma, I always figured you for one of those highly intellectual individuals who were Sponge Bob fans. Maybe if you move the rabbit ears a little the picture will get clearer
