Plains Indian Bow??

   I need to make my step son a plains Indian bow. If possible I would like to use the same wood they used. The North Dakota area is what he is studying. Could anyone give me some instructions on what I need to build??

p. 136  Plains, in the north, hickory,ash and chokecherry, often sinew-backed, predominated.

Laubin reports in American Indian Archery

p.26 Eastern Sioux used hickory, Western Sioux, in addition to ash, used chokecherry, wild plum,and crab apple. serviceberry is also mentioned
