$500 + Jigsaw Puzzle
« on: November 22, 2016, 10:30:55 pm »
And that's for just six of the hoses and the sleeve. :o
The worst was slamming the pins loose in order
to get to at the piston connections. OH and the real
pis# off --the folks that screwed up the hose orders >:(
TWICE--and the bone head at the auto parts store
that said  "sure I have the exact same diameter hose" >:(
All in all, not to bad for a flintknapping potato digger. :)

Oh and the $50 for fluid >:(

A real design flaw here. The pinch is what
caused the hose failures.

Ahhh, nothing like the smell of warm hydraulic oil in the morning.

LOL
Actually it's so refined that I think you could use it for skin lotion.

The sweet smell lingers for the WHOLE day :)

Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

I own a John Deer 410C front end loader/backhoe. Having replaced most of the hoses on that over time, the price that you paid is in the ballpark.

And that ain't no potato picker as my father in law owns a potato farm, lol.  Hoses for that costs a little bit more.

Happy Thanksgiving Don.

I used to never have to oil my workshoes.Just kept leaking and spilling hydraulic fluid on them changing couplers with farm equipment.
