leather work patterns?
« on: December 01, 2016, 10:40:55 am »
Anyone have or know where I can get copies of some leather work patterns for possible bags and back quivers.  Buddy gave me a bear rug and I would like to make his grand daughter and my granddaughter a couple of possibles bags and maybe a couple of back quivers.

I copied a back quiver and hip quiver pattern off of tradgang. As far as bags beadman just posted his pattern for a bag he made for the christmas trade. Also may get a free pattern from tandy of one of their old hippy purses it is the same as a possibles bag

Seems to me that Backwoods Mag. had a lot of patterns in them through the years. I don't know if they have a web site or not. You may check the Tandy web site also.

Track of the Wolf and Panther Primitive have a lot of patterns.  Both catalogs are online. Track is out of Minn. and Panther is out of WVa. Bear skin should make neat bags, the girls will love them.
