The 90degree to this is perfectly straight. Would you use this wobley bit as snake or as a sort of natural gull wing. It is maple and over 6'4 i would say

if the tips line up with the handle, make it snakey. If not, might be tough to tiller...

Agreed. I've had a hard time tweaking maple (sugar maple) to get tips to line up.

I think you are saying this would be the side view, right?  I would either straighten the middle, or maybe make that part a deflexed handle and reflex the rest of it.  I haven't worked with maple, so I don't know how well it likes steam vs. dry heat, or reflexing for that matter.

im just saying this is the snakey side. Looking at it from a ninety degree turn it is dead straight
