Beautiful work as usual Manny.  Looks like you are refining your handle work, leather arrow pass.  Very nice.  Too bad it fret, but it still looked real good on the tree.

That is a bummer Manny. >:( Still is a fantastic looking bow. Are you going to put it on the tiller tree of death?  Come on lets see what happens when you pull that thing to 35".  >:D Sorry I am just remembering the thread when you put some of your Guava bows to the test. Are you going to try Eucalyptus again?

Manny, Can you post a picture of what the leaves look like? I've been looking at Eucalyptus for awhile but I thought what we have here is too light in density.

Eddie, this particular one I got because wile on a KOA mission I ran into this groove of trees I never saw before, I didn't even knew it was Eucalyptus at first, I cut it down because it was a farely strait tree ;D, never ran into this species since.

Manny, What we have around here is telephone pole straight. It has long, 6" narrow leaves and a shiney inner bark with a thin peeling outer bark. does this sound the same?

that sounds like the blue gum eucalyptus, or Lemon eucalyptus, or Mandhalay gum Eucalyptus, all of them quite superior to this one in my experiance as tree trimmer, and I made a bamboo backed lemon once that was quite good
