another Rosevelt elk (rifle)
« on: November 08, 2016, 01:49:40 pm »
one of my partners got his bull this weekend. We had him loaded in the truck by 7:30, 2nd day of season :). We will be looking for my sons elk and our deer come Thanks Giving. this bull has 5 on each side 3 above the eye guards / brow tines. Freezer is looking good finally. I still really want to kill a deer with a stone point, maybe the late season. Good Luck to all still out after them. Thanks to taking the time to look at a "cough" Rifle kill  ;). Ed

Any legal kill is a good kill. Nice work. That's a heck of a birth mark on your partners face.  ;D

Ed I'm jealous of you fellas that live in elk country.

Congrats to your buddy

Thanks for looking and the comments.

Nclonghunter, funny you should say that my partner only has one eye, well he's blind in one. He was almost killed by a limb while falling timber.
I blocked his face out because, I never asked him about putting his pic up here, now on the other hand, I have a ton of his pics on my Facebook page in my hunting albums. LOL Have a great day. Ed

Unfortunately my phone died as I was going to take a pic, sadly this isn't the 1st we didn't get pics of in the brush. We tend to go to work on them as soon as we get to them. Big animal and crippled up old hunters means get busy fast. LOL
This bull also happened to drop in a logging rd. so pics were not going to be the best, but the pack was just right. LOL Ed
