Tri-Lam (not so english) Longbow

Hi guys.

Well.. I tried to make an ELB but ended up with the belly lam so thin, it couldn`t be made round.
It also ended up 35#.... 10# less then what I wanted so I`ll be giving it to a friend of mine. He`s a happier man now...

Specs:
71" TtT
35#@29"
Ipe belly, maple core and bamboo back.
1" wide at the widest point
Ipe tip overlays
Ram horn arrow pass
Leather grip

Haven`t made a proper string yet.. still using the tillering string, but here she is..

Right limb looks ok, but that long stiff handle on the left seems like it's making the midlimb work a little harder?

The handle is 10" long but the grip is not in the middle. That`s why it looks like the left has a long stiff handle.
I used the tillering gizmo and it says there`s no hing...
I think it`s the camera angle, I`m not standing right in front of it, I`m a littleof to the side.

Why don't you put it on the tiller the way it will be drawn?

Not too bad for a multiple piece glue up, those slippery pieces can be tough to handle. You can always cut a few inches off and get your weight. You have plenty of length to deal with.

I thought of that but then again... my friend really wanted a new bow....
