Just my Arrow and My Hickory Bow...
« on: November 12, 2016, 12:34:38 pm »
Couldn't quite get the shot on a nice 10 point this morning. He was chasing does all around me. As I was heading back to the truck this little lady came down through the woods with 2 others. On the ground, 18 yards, jasper head, river cane, hickory flatbow. As good as it gets.

That's why it ain't over till it's over nice job staying alert on the way to your truck. It's so easy to forget your still hunting even when your coming and going to your stand.

Your really having some success this season, what your doing isn't pure luck thats for sure. If our paths ever cross I'll have to pick your brain and tap into some of that hunting and shooting knowledge you obviously have. Congrats on the kill. :)

Ha! 30 years of doing it, with most of those years it completing consuming my spare time and energy. I didn't collect baseball cards, play video games, play or watch sports, or do what most kids do. I played music and bowhunted. My idols were Fred Bear and John Prine. All these years later, I guess not much has changed...LOL.
