Hickory in reflex

Hello. I have two hickory boards when put together comes out to a little over 5/8 "  thick and they are 68" long and 1-1/2 wide. I was planning on glueing these two pieces together into about 3-4" inches of reflex and make a bend through the handle type of bow. My question is first can this be done lol? Secondly will the boards retain much of the induced reflex. Because with my experience hickory has string follow even when dried sufficiently and heat treated on the belly. Just lookin for some pointers and advice before proceding, thanks for your time!

Glued in reflex often holds much better than heat induced reflex. A 68" bendy handle would probably knock your teeth out if not done just right. Id make a rigid handle bow with it. If you want a bendy, cut about 8" off it. Providing you draw 26-28".
