Sleek, Kinda looks like slag glass but I have never seen it with pretty color so here is my quess , Pink or Rose Quarts, and not sure on knap ability. Bob

I agree that it looks a lot like slag glass, but if it is, it's old. I think they have quit making glass with a red tint in this country. Anyway, I would not do any chipping on it till I got a positive ID. It may be worth more than a chunk of slag.

It's not Rose Quartze. It has air bubble holes in it.I've seen some old glass with colored swirls in it.

yes looks like slag glass. it's glass left over from a glass making factory for example. will knap, but typically not great because of bubbles and cracks. If you are looking for some knappable rock for your hunting points, I have some nice "dacite" obsidian that is excellent for that- we could trade...

Idont have much trade ability at the moment due to how things are for me right now. Probably gonna be that way until after Christmas. But, if you let me know what you want for some, maybe we can work something out? If not thats ok too.
