ISO Green Branches
« on: October 11, 2016, 11:23:50 am »
Hey everyone, I just got into carving spoons but live in AZ and don't have a lot of wood selection.  I'm looking for green fruitwood in small diameter (1.5" or bigger).  I can pay in spoons or we can figure something else out.  Thanks!

Do you have any pics of your spoons or ones like what you'll carve? I have a plum and black cherry I will be taking down and can cut lengths of branches for you.

Here's  what I've done so far.  Plum or cherry would be very pretty.

I can cut a load of persimmon, orange, grapefruit and I'm getting ready to cut my lemon tree way back. It's over twenty feet tall.

I have Orange, Pecan and a Texas Black Cherry Tree that need some trimming. Let me know if there's something you're interested in.

I would take you all up on the offers, but maybe in steps, I can only carve so fast and the wood has to stay green!  Although I think I can put them in a water tank but I'd like to test that before stocking up.  Pat is cutting some this weekend for me, but I'd really like to carve early next week.  If anyone can fill a large flat rate box with this great species and mail today, please PM me thanks.
