Preaching to the choir and all that aside; be careful with draw weight. I didn't listen to my body and kept shooting with the measly 60 pounder even after feeling some back pain. Thought it was just muscle fatigue. I was getting some good results too, good release, Nice arrow flight, back tension back tension, ha!)
Wrong. Muscle tear and possibly nerve inflammation around my right shoulder blade.
Despite strong painkillers and antinflamatorry compounds I can barely get to the toilet now. Had a blackout when I tried getting up in the morning. Not to mention putting on underwear. So, even if one can shoot with the desired draw weight for an entire day it doesn't mean it's all nice and well. (looking at you, Stalker Filip Croatian Warbow man) Pain? Stop shooting untill it subsides.
Warbow dreams postponed for now.
