Ferretts Board Bow instructions

When he refers to the Belly taper, going from 3/4" to 1/2" thick at the tips, I'm confused. Thought the limb should be of uniform thickness?

I don't have Mickey's buildalong but only in a pyramid bow is the thickness uniform. There probably is a belly taper. Jawge

That's correct the ferret's bow build is an afb with parallel limbs to i thing a ft from the tips and then tapering to1/2" tips so there is a thickness taper. This bow will have an elliptical tiller when properly tillered. I built several bows with this design when i started
failure is an option, everyone fails, it's how you handle it that matters.

I still build bows for hunting like this, very reliable and bullet proof.
