Bloody Bubby Knife
« on: October 06, 2016, 11:58:14 pm »
Bubby and I made a friendly wager on who would win the football game between the Bengals and the Niners last year.  As you may have guessed I won the bet  ;D   The wager was that the loser had to make the winner a knife.  Bubby delivered that knife to me at Marshall this summer.  I told him I'd give it a good test run the first chance I got.  Tonight was that night.  I used it to field dress and skin a deer.  I didn't baby the knife.  I treated it like my usual hunting knife.  I hit bones, cut through hide, and cut a lot of meat.  When I was done I tested it on my arm.  It still shaved the hair right off.  I was very impressed with the quality of the blade.  It's quite the looker to.  Great job on the knife Bubby!  It's cleaned, oiled, and ready to handle another deer.

Bubby's team isn't very good.  So if anyone wants to get a great knife like this just make a bet with him.  I think the niners won't win more than a few games this year so you should have pretty good odds  ;D  ;D  ;D

Just kidding Bubby.

Thanks guys.  The deer wasn't a primitive kill  :-[    It puts some meat in the freezer and takes some of the pressure off of me.  Now I can try to get one with my trade bow from Aaron.

Thanks Clint I'm glad it worked good for you. Betting is closed as far as the niners, closed, closed, closed😤
