It draws 26" now. I want 28", so it will either take it or break.

Man oh man you should live next to wizradgoat. You 2 would crank out one after the other of sweet looking yew bows. You'd have to take a truckload of osage with ya though.I'll have to communicate with Carson some soon....lol.
Just sweet looking lines to that bow as is.Anything else put on it is a bonus. You should'nt lose too much going to 28".No tick/sound as a brick....heh!!!Once the woman's away we get to play.....lol.If Clint does'nt like it I'll take it.....lol.

Nice looking bow for sure Chris!
In the braced pic, do you think it's a little stiff on the outer third of the right limb?

I'm pretty sure you stole this bow out of my shop! I swear it looks exactly like the bow I'm working on now, But you would have had to glue on 8" of limb. 28" won't be any problem! 62" is a mighty long bow, it would take that if it was 10" shorter. Love the look of this bow! Looking forward to seeing your finished pics

I thought the same, but when I draw on it that section moves. I pulled it to 20" on a stick and checked it with my scraper, perfect gap down through that area. Ill try to get the boss to take a "full" draw pic tonite, we can peek at it again.

When it comes to building a bow, I LOVE the classic old school static profile build. When it comes to shooting/hunting a bow gimme a 65" straight osage bow all day and twice on Sundays :)
