Bleeder vaines on knapped heads?
« on: October 04, 2016, 04:24:17 pm »
I want to shoot a knapped point but really want bleeder blades. So could sharp flakes be pitch glued on the shaft 90 degree to the point?

I know James Parker has done it and he made a Satellite style 5 blade broadhead with antler tip with 5 micro blades around it...and shot through the shoulder of a doe. I don't know where pics might be. Have you tried a search in the "Arrows" section?

I've seen them made on you tube. Like said micro blade (really sharp flakes) attached to shaft.
