Osage Holmegaard help

I have been reading TBB 4 over the last week and have been inspired to make a replica holmegaard. I haven't completely grasped the concept of the mass formula, but know the percs of this stlye. The only wood I have access to at this time is osage, and i was wondering how wide the fades should be, and how far the widdened region should extend before tapering down. I have a few 64" staves that would be suitable, and some 74", 1/4 logs waiting to be debarked. The hugh of the staves is a light yellow(apparently not as dense). Thanks for the continued advice

Hey, Tyrell
Check out my Holmegaard build along, in the How To & Build Along forum. Should answer all your questions. There's lots of pics. Good luck!
