Tip Curtis Frontier Shop still open?
« on: September 15, 2016, 10:19:26 am »
I've got the day off tomorrow so I wanted to drive out there since its only about 30 miles from my house and check it out and maybe pick up something.

I've called them two or three times this week but no one has answered the phone. Just wanted to make sure they weren't appointment only before I drove out there.

Thanks!

He is open still. The Friendship shoot is going on. He may be there.

Yeah drove by there yesterday and everything was locked up tight, no cars at the shop or the house.

Oh well : ) I'll try again some other time.

Cool lookin' shop - I'd be broke if I lived anywhere close ! Flinters are like Peanuts - Bob.

I understand from the longrifle boards that Tip doesn't take custom orders anymore for guns. He said he sells all he wants to sell from the ready made stock he keeps on hand in his shop and as a vendor at big shoots. His guns are made in the shop that is attached to his retail store, he gave me a tour one time, amazing.
