Ammo for a Daughter
« on: September 03, 2016, 04:39:25 pm »
My kids visited this summer. Tami, the oldest, expressed interest in shooting bows. So we spent several hours spread over couple weeks shooting through my lil range out back.

I promised to make/send her a bow. Figured better include a bit of ammo too.

Need I say she's Univ of OR graduate . .. . .  :o

German spruce 5/16 shafts with 100 gn points. Wild turkey feathers, with 2/3's of 'em dyed icky green using food coloring.

... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857
