I went back the next morning and follow the track a bit. Seems like it was both rear hooves to my in trained eye. These are the 2 different hooves they kept going for a 1/4 mi.
PS 2 days later there they were again in the hard dry ground walking down the same sprayed track.

You're going to have to set up a trail cam or better yet a blind.

I'm sure they are going to change routine now beans are ripe harvest is coming. Don't have enough trail cams for all the places I'd like to put them. This ones not really in my hunting grounds just rent ground.

Thanks Howard, same to you. This will be my 1st year bow hunting and it will be all my own hand built primitive stuff. I will have a great time even if I don't get a shot, of course it'd be even better to get something but I know I've still got a lot to figure out. Working on putting up a few tree stands and some natural ground blinds and practicing from tree stand behind my house. I am getting really excited it looks like some really nice bucks around this year.

The first time you take a deer with your own gear is a real thrill.  It is a different way of setting up your ambushes from your typical rifle set up.  Set up for one so close that you can smell them and see their eye lashes.  Keep that wind in your face and when the shot comes along - aim small and miss small.  Careful with this kind of hunting - you could be hooked for life!!

Pile you some hay bales near the trail and use it for a blind. The smell is good and natural.

Does mostly have loose pellets. Bucks have  clumps
that can tell the diameter of certain parts of anatomy.
If they are big round balls 1 1/4" --- Bullwinkle >:D
