That is a nice wide buck.  Looks like he has some junk on the bases.  I bet he breaks some of those off fighting unless you get him early.  It's hard to tell from your picture but it looks like it has some burrs stuck to it.  I've been seeing that a lot on the deer in my pictures.  The wet summer must have been good for the burrs.

You can see them stuck to the doe and fawns in this picture.

My brother in law cut the field for me.  This doe came out to feed when he was still mowing.

I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Cool pics guys. I need to get my camera back out. Lucy Brown, our chocolate lab has been telling us about a bear in the neighborhood over the last few nights.

They are starting to shed their velvet.

This group of young bucks were in my back yard a few days ago.

Clint, your trail cam pics get me fired up every year!!  Thanks for posting.  You guys have got some fine deer.  Saw a little six point last night on the road and the velvet was gone. Forty days till hunting season - I can't wait.

Nice pictures, Clint what have you got in that corner, seems all the deer like that spot for some reason.
Beau pulled the cards and checked them out yesterday on 3 camera's :), I didn't get a copy of the pictures, no real big bucks but several 8's and 7"s and some smaller scrub bucks and lots of doe. I told him to send them to me, if he dose I will post them.

Pappy,   They are always crossing that corner of the field there.  I think that's the busiest spot on our property.  I've been dumping out some leftover grain out there to give them something to snack on.

Arrowbuster,   Nice pictures.  I'm always excited to get a bobcat on camera.
