Another Virginia bear attack
« on: August 31, 2016, 09:16:10 am »
I'm not one to panic about these attacks but
they may push me a little closer to taking a
bear this year if I get the chance.

Honestly I couldn't help but laugh a little bit. The woman went over and "kicked" a full grown bear? What did she expect would happen? It would just run away and leave its cubs?

Anyway. I'm glad they didn't try and go after the bear to kill it. It was just acting out of instinct anyway.

She kicked it?! Well as long as she didn't poke the bear right? Great hairy Odin on a traffic light, what goes through some peoples minds....

Darwin hard at work...................still.......I would dare say the woman attacked a bear rather.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Thanks for the link DC
The dear ole gal was trying to protect her pooch that was engaged with the bear.
I doubt she knew anything about the cubs at the time.
I guess what I am getting at is that there is not enough hunting pressure
around here  to keep the critters out of the neighborhoods.
There has been a rash of attacks lately.
The average person in the area probably has no bear education.
