I have been making two sets of arrows for a trade with DuBois, who was kind enough to send me some osage, and I thought I would post an update so he knows how it is coming. The shafts are straightened and sanded to weight and spine--although with bamboo I can only get close on the weight. Spines are to within 2 pounds of each other, and the weights are to within 2 grams, with the exception of one outlier that is a little lighter. If I have time, I may replace it, but I don't think it will make a noticeable difference. the tips are made, but the broadheads need some sharpening. The fletchings shouldn't take to long. I still need to paint and seal the shafts.
