new points
« on: August 20, 2016, 02:27:35 pm »
I have decided knapping is like golf, at least if you golf once a year, like me.  I hit ten worm burners off the tee, and then hit one that sails down the middle of the fairway.  I make a lot of waste, or start out with a big rock to end with a tiny, lumpy point.  But once in a while one will turn out pretty okay.

I thought that's how golf and flintknapping were supposed to be, you mean people actually do better?  :o

Good looking points! I like the spade

I like the spade too--it might be my favorite shape.  But it started out much bigger until it snapped in half.  It has a bunch of bubbles in it, which probably helped toward the break, but I think they look pretty cool.

You will notice I am not posting the profile shots of any of the other points ::),

Those are some nice points. Any one of those points would make meat.

nice to know that others are just as proficient at this game called knapping as I am. those look almost identical to mine.

Looking good. When you showed me ones you made earlier they looked good too. You are well on your way to being super primitive!
