WOW! That is one very nice take down bow. I'm have never owned a takedown bow before. Was never a big fan of them till I seen this one! I would own one like that! VERY WELL DONE INDEED!

That one's in the best top 10 ever posted on this site hands down.  I've been slowly rasping away at my riser block for over a year. I'll have me one of those in about a decade at the rate I'm going. :laugh:

Excuse me for being uninformed, but is the bow you made harder to make than the self bow? I really like concept of making take down with self limbs as I have lots of various types of wood (short in length) that could be used as limbs and some other wood I could use for the riser, although not the pretty one like you made.
I though of maybe making black locust limbs.

How do you tiller this thing and if you mess up, does only limb/s broke or the riser also? I thought I could make one good riser and just try to tiller it with various limbs until I succeed.
