Hunting points
« on: August 21, 2016, 11:16:17 pm »
Making a big batch of matched points, weight and width(90-100 grains), and this sucker was my last to make it to an arrow. 3 finished and 8 broken in the final stages now. Every mistake from hitting above centerline to biting too deep to not securing it right to accidentally dropping one.
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short. Amen.

That un looks great Dylan! Keep after it and it will improve. Keep in mind that obsid is super fragile and is part of the reason for your struggle. Other stones have higher tensile strength and aren't as fickle with these end game failures. Still, by sticking to one material you will develop the touch to turn these babies out regularly.
