Brush Arrow Rest

   I am always nervous about that, I have broken  a few nocks and had the string hit my arm pretty hard but so far have never had an arrow break in the middle. I have witnessed several with injuries however.

Yeah, it had me thinking.
My theory is that the arrow made contact with the left edge of the window which acted as a fulcrum, like breaking a stick against your knee. If it had just been a shelf, I don't think they'd have broken, just snaked a tad as they left the bow.
The brush on the left edge certainly seems to do the job (just to clarify.. in the pic we have the archers view of the bow).
Regarding legality.. if I took off the lower brush, which is actually the arrow rest would that then be legal?
